Service Description
This class is best suited for healthcare providers at all levels, as well as those starting a new healthcare program. From nurses and physicians to physical therapists and medical specialists, our BLS class is designed for individuals with a medical license or in school for a healthcare profession. This BLS certification class will teach you how to perform CPR/BLS on adults, children, and infants. You can also expect to learn helpful skills and information for other emergency situations, including how to provide choking relief and how to effectively use an AED. If you’re a healthcare provider looking to get your AHA BLS certification, our instructors are here to help with thorough instruction and friendly, personalized feedback during class. THIS BLENDED LEARNING COURSE HAS TWO PARTS. PARTICIPANTS IN THIS COURSE SHOULD HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED THE ONLINE COURSE SEPARATELY. PART 1: COMPLETE THE ONLINE 'HEARTCODE BLS' COURSE. YOU WILL RECEIVE A SEPARATE EMAIL CONTAINING THE LINK TO YOUR ONLINE COURSE AFTER COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION. PART 2: PRACTICE AND BE TESTED ON YOUR SKILLS WITH A TELECOM INSTRUCTOR. THIS COURSE WILL BE CONDUCTED BY ONE OF OUR INSTRUCTORS VIRTUALLY. THE INSTRUCTOR WILL BE ABLE TO SEE YOU AND INTERACT WITH YOU. YOU MUST BRING YOUR CERTIFICATE FROM THE ONLINE COURSE TO BE ADMITTED TO CLASS. THIS CLASS DOES NOT INCLUDE FIRST AID AS MOST PEOPLE IN HEALTHCARE FIELDS HAVE TRAINING THAT SUPERSEDES FIRST AID.
Cancellation Policy
Class is subject to cancellation 1 weeks prior to course date if minimum student count is not reached. Complimentary transfer or refund will be offered in this case. You can transfer your registration or receive a full refund (minus $30) up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled class. There is no refund and class is non-transferable 7 days before the class.
